Tioma Maloratsky
While at MIT Tioma taught freshman physics courses and fell in love with sharing his passion. He builds mindfulness into all of his lessons and is an expert on executive function development. Tioma is a budding artist and also fluent in Russian and Spanish.

Staci Hyman
​Staci holds a Master’s degree in Bilingual/Dual Language Education from Bank Street College, is an alumna of Teach For America and earned a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. With over fifteen years of pre-school through university level classroom experience, Staci is currently a head teacher in second grade Spanish immersion at Avenues. She is an avid fair weather runner and will run the NYC Marathon this spring! She also loves traveling to her other beloved metropolis, Mexico City.

Asher Lack
Asher has tutored privately for eleven years and works as the dedicated substitute teacher for the English department of Stuyvesant High School (where he has worked since 2009). He has worked with students across all levels of writing from simple composition to term papers and college essays, as well as math from basic arithmetic to pre-calculus.
He has years of experience preparing students for the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, and SHSAT. Growing up in New York, Lack attended Stuyvesant High School and received his BFA in screenwriting from NYU’s Tisch School. When not teaching, he enjoys playing music.

Deborah Li
Deborah is a native New Yorker. After graduating from The Brearley School, she went on to earn her Bachelor's degree at Columbia University. She is now working on her M.D. at Stony Brook University. As a student and recent graduate herself, Deborah understands how to navigate the stresses and challenges that students face on a daily basis. Connecting with her students on a personal level, she provides them with not only academic support but also the emotional support necessary to thrive in their educational journey. When Deborah is not studying or teaching, she enjoys exercising, trying new restaurants, and taking care of her plants.

Laura Bradford
Laura loves teaching math! She currently splits her time between tutoring and teaching math part-time at The Chapin School in Manhattan. Her favorite part of tutoring is witnessing those moments when students reach their goals in math and in their broader lives.

She began her math journey at Bard College, where she earned her BA and MAT in math. She taught at Exeter for 3 years before moving to NYC. Laura is experienced and passionate about tutoring all kinds of math curricula, but Exeter Math holds a special place in her heart!

In her free time, Laura enjoys strength training, reading, sewing, origami, composing music, walking to places near and far, and spending time with her friends and family.

Rachel Moskowitz
Rachel Moskowitz is a native New Yorker. She grew up on Long Island and has been living in New York City since 2017. Rachel is a graduate from Teachers College, Columbia University, with a Dual Masters in General Education and Special Education grades 1-6. Rachel has taught in the Bronx and the Upper West Side in multiple grades. She currently teaches 6th grade in an Integrated Co-teaching classroom at a public school on the Upper West Side. In her free time, she loves to travel and try all different types of food!

Ari Livne
Ari graduated cum laude from Yale University and since moving to New York in 2012 he has worked with students of nearly all ages across a wide variety of subjects. He believes his students academic success is always a priority but remains fiercely committed to cultivating academic independence.

Ari is also an accomplished classical pianist. He received a master's from Julliard and is currently working towards a doctorate in music at CUNY Graduate Center. He also teaches music theory at Hunter College.

Jon Kopita
Jon has been a NYC-based tutor, educational consultant, and college app adviser for the past 30 years. He has worked with families from all over the world.

Jon is a graduate of Cornell with a BA in Chem and a concentration in Physics. After working for a large chemical company he decided to move into tutoring full-time in 1989 and hasn't looked back.
​
He has a holistic teaching approach, focusing on a student's entire learning profile while tailoring lessons to individual needs and learning styles. He loves working with families over the entire course of their child's academic career.

Jon is an avid traveler and hopes to reach 100 countries visited in the coming years.

Dustin Long
Dustin Long is a novelist, teacher, tutor, and mentor who has over 15 years of experience working with students both one-on-one and in classrooms. The key to Dustin's style of teaching is his ability to tailor his approach to fit the needs of each individual student. Whether students prefer to have their camera off or they prefer to chat through Discord, Dustin is great at keeping them both comfortable and on-task.
